About the Journal

The Ninevah University Journal of Medical Sciences (NUJMS) was first published in 2025. It is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed general medical journal, issued twice a year.

The Editor-in-Chief is Assistant Professor Dr. Moamin Junaid Al-Dubooni.

The journal is owned and published by the College of Medicine, Ninevah University.

All online versions are freely accessible to readers worldwide.

Aim

The Ninevah University Journal of Medical Sciences (NUJMS) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed scientific journal published biannually. It welcomes a variety of manuscript types, including editorials, original research articles, review articles, case reports, and letters to the editor.

Its mission is to serve as an international, open-access platform for researchers, scientists, clinicians, and professionals in the public health sector, with the goal of promoting knowledge and best practices across all fields of medicine.

Scope

NUJMS has a broad scope, covering all areas of medical and biomedical sciences. Authors are encouraged to submit work in clinical medicine, public health, pharmaceuticals, surgery, nursing, medical education, and healthcare innovations.
